Cold Weather Chili in 30 minutes

Ingredients

2 medium onions - chopped

1 lb ground meat of your choice

3 Tbsp minced garlic

1 Tbsp neutral oil

2 Tbsp Chili powder

2 Tbsp cumin

3 Tbsp brown sugar

3 Tbsp tomato paste

salt and pepper to taste

cayenne powder, sambal olek, or fresh chilis

1 can diced tomatoes

1 can Kidney beans

1 can pinto beans

1 can black beans


Directions

Saute onions and garlic in 1 tbsp oil over medium heat.

Add ground meat and brown.

Add spices and tomato paste, mix into meat and cook 3-5 minutes.

Add can of diced tomatoes. Fill empty can up with water to collect residual tomato juice and add to chili.

Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
