Basque Cheesecake

Ingredients

1 lb cream cheese - two regular blocks

3/4 cup of white sugar

3 eggs

1 cup of heavy cream

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1/6 cup of flour


Ingredients

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Beat cream cheese and sugar together until smooth.

Add eggs one at a time.

Add cream, salt, and vanilla and combine.

Add flour and mix in.

Pour into 8-inch spring form cake pan lined with parchment paper.

Cook for 40 minutes to one hour. Cake should be browned/blackened and jiggly when shaken. The cake should look risen when initially taken out of oven and will deflate as it cools. Allow to fully cool before removing from pan and eating!
