Walter's Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 Tbsp molasses
1/2 cup melted butter
1.5 cup Flour
1 tsp salt
1.5 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg
3/4 chocolate chips (I prefer semi-sweet)
Directions
Preheat oven to 325° F
Combine butter and sugar until smooth.
Add vanilla and egg and combine.
Add in dry ingredients and combine.
Add chocolate chips and combine.
Form small dough rounds and place onto parchment paper lined pans.
Bake 8-12 minutes depending on size.
The first batch became crispy and flat most likely due to cheap butter and lack of humidity.
Added a pan with water during second batch and the cookies were much better. I highly recommend using high quality butter!
